Privacy Notice

In compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals (LFPDPPP) and in order to ensure the protection and privacy of your personal data, as well as to regulate access, rectification, cancellation and objection to handling regarding such data (Art. 16 of the Constitution, Art. 1 and 2 LFPDPPP), this Privacy Notice is undersigned by the Institute of Advanced Studies and Update, A.C. (hereinafter IDESAA), with address located at Venustiano Carranza 500-40 norte, Centro C.P. 64000, Monterrey, Nuevo León.

At IDESAA, we are responsible for the protection and processing of your personal data, if any. We are committed to protecting the personal information that you provide to us and to make reasonable efforts to use it in accordance with the provisions of the Law.

How to contact us.- If you have questions or concerns about your privacy when using our services or working for us, please contact us by calling our telephone number in the City of Monterrey: 8346-5600. The area responsible for addressing matters related to the handling of personal data will work with you to resolve any questions you may have about this Privacy Notice.

For what purposes do we collect and use your personal data? Your personal data will be used for the following necessary purposes: Provide services and products required by you; Comply with obligations to our customers; Process, complete and track orders; Prepare invoices that include the products or services contracted; Provide information related to your account and the products or services you have purchased with us and better understand your needs and interests.

Additionally, we will use your personal information for the following secondary purposes that are not necessary for the service requested, but that allow us and help us to provide a better service: Assess the quality of our services; Send emails with information and advertising; Customize communications and your network experience; Marketing or advertising; Commercial prospecting.

In the event that you do not want your personal data to be processed for any or all of the additional purposes, as of this moment you can notify it to us sending an email to datospersonales@idesaa.edu.mx indicating your name, your relationship with the institute and the secondary purpose for which you do not want your data to be processed.

The refusal regarding the use of your personal data for additional purposes cannot be a reason to deny you the requested services or terminate the relationship established with us. What personal data do we collect and from where? For the purposes indicated in this privacy notice, we may collect your personal data as follows: when you provide them directly to us once you are working with us as part of our personnel or by having some kind of dealings with you or your Company's personnel, from a seller or account executive, and when we obtain information through other sources in compliance with the Law.

Data we collect, directly or through other sources permitted by law: Name, Taxpayer ID Number (RFC), Unique Population Registration Key (CURP), place of birth, date of birth, nationality, domicile, home phone number, cell phone, email, title or position you perform, work address; institutional email; institutional telephone; educational degrees.

Sensitive personal data.- In the information we require to work, for the billing and delivery of our products, either by our own means, through subsidiaries and/or by courier, your sensitive personal data are not included.

Does IDESAA, A.C. share your Information? We undertake the obligation of not transferring your personal information to third parties without your consent, unless expressly requested by any competent authority or in the event of the exceptions provided for in Article 37 of the LFPDPPP, we also undertake the obligation of making this transfer under the terms of that Law.

Transfer of personal data.- In the event that IDESAA, A.C. transfers your personal data to one of its suppliers in order to fulfill the purposes of the processing established in this privacy notice, it will do so upon the execution of non-disclosure agreements and, provided that, (1) the supplier or person to whom data are transmitted agrees to submit the processing of personal data to this privacy notice and, (2) this is not one of the cases established in Article 37 of the Law. If you do not object to your personal data being transferred to third parties, it shall be deemed that you have granted in favor of IDESAA authorization to do so. How can you limit the use or disclosure of your personal data? If you are our customer, you can stop receiving promotional messages, either by home phone or mobile phone, direct message and/or email, by sending a notice to the email address datospersonales@idesaa.edu.mx or sending a notice directly to our offices located at Venustiano Carranza 500-40 norte, Centro C.P. 64000, Monterrey N.L., or calling 8346-5600.

Limitation of Use and Disclosure.- The processing of your personal data will be as necessary, appropriate and relevant in connection with the purposes provided for in this Privacy Policy. IDESAA complies with the principles of protection of personal data established by the LFPDPPP and takes the necessary steps for its application, we also take all necessary and sufficient steps to ensure compliance with this Privacy Policy.

Right of Personal Data Holders.- Any holder or, where applicable, his legal representative may exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation or objection, and IDESAA shall provide the means that allow him to exercise his rights. The exercise of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, objection, limitation of use or revocation of consent, may be requested in writing from the IDESAA Intelligence and Database area by sending an email to datospersonales@idesaa.edu.mx. The request shall contain the formalities established in Article 29 of the LFPDPPP. To initiate the revocation process, you must precisely indicate in writing the consent you wish to revoke. Revocation of consent may be made at any time, without the application of retroactive effects.

Use of tracking technologies on our internet portal.- We inform you that we use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies on our web page, through which it is possible to monitor your behavior as an internet user and provide you with a better service and experience when browsing our website. We will use the personal data that we collect through these technologies for data analysis and commercial prospecting. The personal data that we obtain from these tracking technologies are as follows: region in which the user is located, type of user's browser, type of user's operating system, websites visited by a user, user-reviewed advertising, and the date on which the user visits the website.

Modifications to this Privacy Notice.- IDESAA, A.C. reserves the right to make changes or updates to this Privacy Notice at any time, in order to comply with new legislation, internal policies, or new requirements for the provision or offering of our services or products.
